Hero Motor Corp is the Largest Two wheeler Manufacturer in the world. In India, Hero rules the market and is way ahead of its rivals in sales number. But Bajaj and Honda, who are close behind is getting really aggressive to beat Hero Motor Corp. Entry Level and the Commuter segment are, where most of the sales are coming for Hero. Both Bajaj and Honda have launched Multiple products in the entry level segment to beat Hero Motor Corp.
Honda’s recent launch Dream Yuga and Neo in the entry level series is a big hit and also the new Discover models from Bajaj. But the big problem for Hero Motor Corp is the 150 cc + segment, where Bajaj and Honda are too strong. Hero Motor Corp MD and CEO, Pawan Munjal said that the company is going to launch 12 new products across different segments by March 2014. Hero Motor Corp is going to focus on 150 cc+ segment and he is excited about the Upcoming Festival Season.
We already know that Hero Motor Corp is developing a new 250cc sports bike with the help of its new partners. Also Hero Karizma Facelift has caught testing recently. So, we can expect Hero to launch the Karizma Facelift in the festival season to gain maximum attention from buyers and also to capitalize the big festival rush. The battle in the performance segment would be even more hotter now.
